DIY Dog Ice Cream Treats
Summer’s here!! Just as humans love the cold, sweet taste of ice cream, so does your dogs!Unfortunately, the ingredients in conventional ice cream products aren’t necessarily healthy for them. So we’re going to show you how to make a healthy and safe dog ice cream treat directly from your kitchen.
Here are the ingredients:
- One Peeled banana
- Peanut Butter
- HiPet Canine Formula
- Vanilla or plain yogurt
- Honey
Place the peeled banana in a large bowl and continue mashing it with a spoon until it has a creamy consistency. Next, add the yogurt (2 teaspoons), peanut butter (1 Teaspoon), HiPet Canine Supplement Powder (1 teaspoon), and honey (1 teaspoon). Stir until very smooth and creamy with no chunks remaining, now we’re ready to proceed to the next step!
Fill the ice cube box with the creamy mixture and stuff it into the freezer for approximately 2 to 4 hours.
Take it out from the freezer and we’re ready to see our results!
Voila!!! Freshly made ice cream treats for your dogs! Unlike the ice cream made for human consumption, there is no chocolate, artificial additives, saccharines, xylitols, or dairy ingredients which will potentially cause harm to Max or Molly. So you may have a peace in mind that while you’re enjoying your ice cream, your dogs can enjoy theirs at the same time with all the wholesome benefits!
We hope your dog can enjoy this home made treat just like Tiffy, our Chihuahua. Oh, btw, the little cookie on top of the ice cream is part of the toppings!
